Gabby Dean is a performer and choreographer based out of NYC. She recently graduated with her BFA in Musical Theatre from LIU Post and has been teaching dance and circus across the country over the past 8 years. From line dancing to ballet to aerial arts, Gabby is passionate about teaching the next generation of dancers and inspiring others to get moving.

Ava Jaross (She/Her)
FLOW INSTRUCTOR
Ava has over 14 years of experience in fire and flow arts and has been performing professionally for the past 5 years. She specializes in poi, staff, fans, hula hoop, and more, and has been teaching workshops and classes for over a decade at festivals, in private sessions, and online. Passionate about sharing her craft, Ava is excited to bring her expertise to the studio and inspire the next generation of flow artists.

Indigo Detry (She/Her)
K-POP DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Indigo is a social media creator who has 17 years of dancing under her belt. She took a two year break from dance while graduating from Laguardia Arts High School, and it was her interest in K-Pop during the end of 2020 that brought her back into it.
She has been teaching K-pop choreography since July 2024 and is currently the main dance teacher at fan-led NYC collective Atiny New York City. She also teaches free classes in East Harlem, as well as independent classes when she has time.
She has foundations in ballet, modern, and hip hop, and her goal is to foster an inclusive and judgment-free space in whatever she does.
Indigo’s favorite groups are Stray Kids, Ateez, and BTS.

Kalyan Sayre (She/Her)
HANDSTANDS & DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Kalyan Sayre is a North Carolina Native and an NYC transplant. She enjoys exploring a wide array of movement, with a background in dance. She earned her BFA in Modern/Contemporary dance at George Mason University and has since trained in partner/group acrobatics and handstands in New York as well as Pitch Catch Circus School, The French Acrobatic Convention, and workshops with Pilobolus. Kalyan has been performing along the East Coast, most recently working with Brian Sanders’ JUNK and Ariel Rivka Dance. She is passionate about creation, blending different movement modalities, and finding physicality in expression. As a teacher, Kalyan is thrilled to help others find pleasure and confidence in training, approaching every session with compassion and encouragement and the hopes of empowering students to train progressively into the future. Her favorite flavor of ice cream is Coffee Heath Bar Crunch.

Heather Michele Meyer (She/Her)
SILKS & YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Heather Meyer is a career artist and multifaceted human with decades of experience in classical vocal performance, stage acting, aerial arts, and the business of wine.
After going to school for vocal performance in both Santa Barbara and San Francisco, she moved to NYC in 2005, where she studied circus arts at The Muse, Circus Warehouse and Aerial Arts NYC. She has also trained extensively at NECCA, and with Paper Doll Militia. Her main passions are silks and rope, but she has been known to touch a bar apparatus from time to time.
In her performance life, she loves to explore multi-disciplinary collaborations, and has debuted multiple aerial singing pieces. She is a recipient of a 2024 residency grant with Hupstate Circus and Saltonstall Foundation, and recently debuted her one woman show as a resident artist at Brooklyn Art Haus.

Nick Fox (He/They/She)
HEAD COACH & OFFICE MANAGER
Nick Fox started his circus journey at age 11 at one of the foremost performing art camps in the United States. Since then he has become an accomplished generalist and has trained disciplines including: a vast array of Aerial apparatuses; Flying Trapeze; Flow arts; Dance; and Acting. He has taught all over the country in studios, productions, and summer campsand has also written and designed original circus shows, created and developed programming, helped students prepare for professional auditions, and published two circus books. His motto as a coach is “We get to share the joy of something we love by showing the students the potential we see in them.”

Rachel Leksana (She/Her)

Rachel took her first flying trapeze class in 2018 and has been in love with circus arts ever since. She's been teaching lyra and flexibility for 4 years at CANY, and several students who began their lyra journey in her classes have gone on to perform and compete professionally. Her mission is to create an inclusive, fun, and safe environment for students to find strength and community.
